2009 is going to be fine!

POTTY TRAINED!!!!

I put everyone on "lock-down" for a few days. We stopped diapers cold turkey (except at night) and set the timer for 55 minutes (don't ask me why 55 minutes, just motherly instincts). One treat for dry undies, one treat for going in the potty. I used Pez and Whoppers, but I think anything small and sweet would have worked. Soon he started saying, "It's coming, it's coming!!!" and even learned how to "stop it" from coming. I also motivated him by saying that the Backyardigans go in the potty. YEAY!!!

AWESOME! Congratulations. What a feat. Let's celebrate! Wanna come over for ice cream? (just looking for excuses)

Congrats!! We need to really get down to potty training with Jonas too but I'm resisting just to avoid the stress of it. maybe we should try your method...did it really take just one day?

No way... it has been a week since we started and he hasn't had any accidents for a few days. I feel like he wants to wear underwear and he doesn't think a diaper is an option. Watch, now he'll go backward.

congratulations Grant. And learning the prophets and apostles names in the meantime is a great idea as well. Potty trained and spiritual at the same time.

I absolutely love that he is holding the Ensign (I think it's the Ensign). Good Job Grant and good job Mom...you are so patient.

Grant is so much more spiritual than Ethan was at the stage of life. Ethan would carry a mustard bottle in with him (strange).

I MISS you guys!
