Yellow!

Yeay for internet! How did we ever live without it!?!
I can't wait to catch up on all your cute blogs!

We've had an awesome first week in our new house.
We are at a good stopping point of unpacking until our carpet gets here (early next week?)
We hired out some finish work in the basement and it is all done. I can't wait to post pictures once things are settled in.

So, four of the main rooms in our house are already painted in very fun, bright colors.
The living room is a creamed corn yellow, the dining room is lavender, the sun room is sunset orange, and the kitchen is so lemon yellow that this blog should be titled "In my yellow kitchen..." I totally believe in the idea that colors have an effect on your brain because my house make me so happy!

Our branch (yes, branch) is so awesome. We've already been invited to dinner by several of the families and had swimming, dinner, and a baseball game last night with another family. There are lots of young student families with little kids. I've just been amazed at how fast we've made friends! Everyone, even our neighbors, have been so nice. A tribute to the town and the "your-branch-is-your-family-attitude" outside of Idaho/Utah.

When you move to a new place, you can always count of the consistency of two things: The church and Walmart.

So glad you're up and running again!! I can't wait to see pics of your fun house, sounds so bright and cheery. Gotta love Branches, it's just a little fam away from the fam. We miss you, especially Austin, he's been looking at pictures and keeps asking for Grant and Spencer and Emily. It's really cute, I'll have to call soon and let them talk. :)

That's for sure about church and Walmart, I thought for sure that when we moved I might have a hard time finding one or the other. I'm glad to keep in touch and hear about all the exiting changes happening over there in the Patterson Family.
