Its only just begun...

I realized yesterday that I am now living in the "Red and Green Season". To me, that means 2.5 months of packing, unpacking, driving, driving, driving, shopping, eating, eating, eating, partying, packing, unpacking.

We started early with our Chicago trip, and we jumped right into a road trip for Thanksgiving. (Hence the lack of posting). We returned home last night. Unfortunately, you can't travel without getting sick. It's the rule. Spencer is sleeping with the humidifier 6 inches from his face as we speak. (um, read). Grant is fighting an ear infection that likes to keep us all up at night. So he's of course been really pleasant in the day time too.

(These cousins are up to no good)

Thanksgiving was so nice. We drove to see Spencer's sister's family (of 7) in Farmington, New Mexico. We ate a yummy deep fried Cajun-style turkey, saw some amazing Aztec Indian ruins, and watched a lot of exciting college sports. We LOVED the visit (despite the long drive and unhappy toddler -- p.s. Moms with 5 children are practically pediatricians).

My favorite was seeing Durango, Colorado. The main street is filled with little old-west shops and hotels... the same place where Gale forced Oprah to dress up for the old west photo on their road trip. Thanks for the wonderful Thanksgiving, Robinsons!

Now I have to go plan a pack meeting. Later.

The Robinsons are a ROCK BAND in and of themselves. I'm glad you had fun. I'm not glad everyone is sick.
