Baby Love...

Grant is a funny little guy these days. He loves to help with Henry and informs me whenever he cries. Grant also retrieves items for Henry (I totally praise this behavior). Sometimes Grant will look up from his lunch or coloring book and say, "Where baby Henny?"

Normally, I rarely cry. But I think that my hormones are still out of whack because I cry when I ponder upon the fact that I am a mother-of-two. Not because I feel overwhelmed by the responsibility, but because I love them so much. Fulfilled to the core.

This week is the first full week of just us -- no moms to help. You would be so proud of me. I have kept the dishwasher rotating, done this week's laundry, bought groceries, and held my newborn for hours everyday. AND (with the help of Roxie) I made the handiest little activity schedule for Grant so he doesn't get bored with the same things everyday and gets to have plenty of mommy time. (I must blog about this more next time)

I am dying to post this video of Grant. He sings the ABC's 1000 times a day at the top of his lungs. Note how he makes up the words. I can't wait until he learns a new song.

That is one of the cutest little videos I've ever seen...I love his version of LMNOP! So funny! What a ham! Okay, have the fabric, I want to paint the chair white. I'm a little bummed that I haven't splashed any colors on the wall to help diffuse the whole white on white prob. I'm having some iss-ues with compulsive behavior, or I'm just becoming aware of the fact that I'm very compulsive. Either way, I'd love to get together. Grant is more than welcome to come over to Shelly's on Tuesday when I teach Ashley and Jump-a-jump with au-seen. He would love that. Good job normalizing your 2 kid life, you're going to be such a fabulous little homemaker. I'm glad I have such a good example to look up to!

Emily, I almost died when I watched that video of Grant. He is so cute. Saki kind of does the same thing, but he can only sing "eensy weensy spider". Anyway, I loved it.

Em, that has got to be one of the cutest things ever! I laughed so hard, then all my co-workers were wondering what I was laughing at, so I showed all of them, and they laughed too. I miss the boys and you!!

oh my gosh, LOVE LOVE that video! I can't stop laughing! I think I'll have to watch that one a few more times. I'm also a little upset at how great you look after just having a baby...why is your hair done?? And check you out, mother of two, getting so much done. You are inspiring. Inspiring enough to make me go get dressed.

PS- I demand more pictures of your kids. Videos are good too. ;-)

Okay, besides the LMNOP part, my favorite is the face he is making before he starts. What a funny kid. I miss you guys. Can we come visit again sometime?

Henry is beautiful. Congratulations! You have the cutest family. We missed you at Natalie's wedding, but you had a PRETTY good excuse! ;)

Congrats to the family of FOUR! We would have loved to have seen you at the wedding, but it sounds like you've been awfully productive just staying home. Keep up the great work! :)

Hi Emily...
It's Jesy (Jed May's little sister). I just thought I'd say hi... and tell you that I can totally relate to the crying comment. Sometimes I look at my little boy and just well up with tears thinking about how fortunate I am to have him in my life... and overwhelmed by how much I love him. I couldn't imagine the intense emotions that accompany parenthood before I had my son.

Anywho... it's great to see your adorable little family! Tell Spencer I said hi! Also... I made Jed and Kat make a blog... their link is on my blog.

Have a great day!

Yes Spencer.... My son Madax must get his crazy toe-sucking ability from the May side of the family.... come to think of it... I'm almost 100% certain that I've seen Jed do that a time or two!

I've gotta keep this kid away from his crazy uncle, huh!?

Your kids are adorable by the way!
