Also, this week I made myself a personal assistant. It HAD to be done. I'm always disappointed with planners and organizers from the store. So, I opted for couture.
I named her Lois. This is after my grandmother who also made a custom home/family organizer when her four daughters were small. I think I got this gene.
I used my experience in wife-hood and motherhood to decide how awesome to make it.
It is my new BFF.

Way cute! I am so jealous; I miss your creativity! I wouldn't know where to start. My idea of a planner is a piece of paper I carry around with various lists scribbled all over it.

oh my gosh- what a great and inspirational idea! i am always disappointed with store bought planners too but i live live live by them! thomas made me a notebook for check-off lists one year since i also live by check-off lists. i think i'm gonna have to do this! i enlarged the picture to see your tabs but i want more! like a step by step picture of each page... ok, you dont have to do that, but i think i'm gonna do this too! you have always been creatively inspiring to me friend.

You need to show more pictures of your organizer and tell us how you made it!! LOVE love organizing and I'm always looking for a better way... I can agree that I'm never satisfied with the stores' planners either.
