I'm writing you this letter to say that I am moving to the Florida Keys.
January is my least favorite month. Cabin fever. Budgets. Holiday hang-over. Tax season. Tried and failed resolutions. I'm tired of cooking soup. I'm tired of wearing shoes. I'm tired of sweating in my coat because it takes 15 minutes to put the little people's coats on. Dirty snow. Dark by 5pm. Illnesses. Ice. Gas/Heat bill. Eww!
Also: Why is it that Grant won't go to BED!?! Nap or no nap!!!
Rant, rant, rant, rave, rave, rave!!!
Sorry about the lack of posts, but do you see what happens when I post in January!!
Love,
Emily

dear very dear friend,
i feel like i cant help you except that i can sympathize. and i can suggest that you eliminate more than half of those problems by moving to hawaii- spence can transfer to UH right? right? sure?
hooray!
see you sooooon!
love always your friend,
stephanie
I'm sorry. I remember what January is like in the snow. You know, this is kinda your fault. If only you had listened to me and moved next door... it's gorgeous here! Plus I really do miss you. It's been like 6 years. SO, move out of the snow, and come live by me. Deal?
Well, at least you don't have to stay in the basement with strep throat and read all day like Spencer. Take some vitamin D and turn on more lights in the house. Only a few more weeks. And tell Stephanie we all hope she has sand permanently stuck...somewhere.
Yes, I think I am suffering from seasonal depression. I know this because the happiest thoughts I have are about food storage.
Mom, Stephanie is deliriously happy in Hawaii despite the unmentionable sand. You wish you could say the same.
oh em, I am so glad I'm not the only one! it's going to get better, it has to! That's what I tell myself every day. at least you're not in hygiene school right now on top of everything else! Ha! OR a better thought: at least ellen is not your neighbor! Love ya! really, it will get better!
phew! good thing it is almost february! (ditto to all of that, good riddance to january soon!)
haha- i always did love me some sassy roxie!
im happy to report that not only am i warm right now... but completely sand free as far as i can tell... :)
I miss the sun too. Try a cup of warm milk with a tiny dab of honey after a warm bath to put your little to bed. It works on Ms. Paige like a charm.
Em~
I am so glad you are so real about life. I read so many blogs that seem to have the erfect life without all of the everday stuff. I know what you mean about the naps and going to bed. I can totally sympathize with you.
